Job Description

This per diem position entails working with newborns and their families to identify potential hearing issues through screening tests.

Key Tasks:

  • Screen newborns for hearing impairments.
  • Communicate test results to parents and clinicians.
  • Provide education on post-discharge follow-up procedures.
  • Assist with data entry and database management.
  • Work collaboratively with the hearing screen coordinator.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Newborn/Pediatric or childcare experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Familiarity with basic computer software and data entry systems is beneficial.

Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly rate between $40-$60, commensurate with your level of experience.
