Job Overview
As a Production Assembler, you will be tasked with fabricating component parts or assembling the final product in accordance with customer specifications. You will ensure the correct component parts and supplies are secured and maintained for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set up your work area effectively.
2. Assemble parts following prescribed guidelines and quality standards.
3. Utilize hand tools as necessary to complete the assembly process.
4. Organize completed products as per established protocols, including covering, labeling, and banding finished items when required.
5. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is safe for operation.
6. Complete pre-shift equipment inspection checklists and report any issues or concerns.
7. Keep a tidy and orderly work environment.
8. Maintain production records as necessary.
9. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
10. Adhere to established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
11. Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other relevant programs and meetings.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
- No minimum experience required; however, 6 months of experience in manufacturing and assembly is preferred.
- Basic math skills are essential.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
