Pole Set Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Pole Set Laborer to join our team at On Target Utility Services. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in the installation and removal of utility poles, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.
Responsibilities- Assist in the use of heavy construction vehicles and equipment to install and remove utility poles in various locations.
- Work safely around energized lines and equipment, adhering to all construction safety codes and standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project requirements, inventory needs, and schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including working flexible schedules and overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school graduate or equivalent; technical education preferred.
- Previous experience in the construction industry, including operating construction equipment and rigging knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of utility design, construction, and maintenance, including relevant equipment and safety requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses, certifications, and documents.
- Courteous interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs. on an occasional basis and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions and operate trade-related equipment/vehicles.
