Dishwasher Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Chartwells K12. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures to ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors as needed.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans as needed.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and help load and unload supplies and product.
