We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Riverside Community Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care to inpatient units, primarily general medicine, ICU, and coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nutritional care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nutrition plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays.
- Precept dietetic interns and provide education to healthcare team members on nutrition-related topics.
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Eligibility for registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
