Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Mary Washington Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our supervising physicians to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, perform physical examinations, and dictate discharge summaries.
  • Make daily rounds, record progress notes, and write routine orders for patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, procedures, medications, and post-discharge care.
  • Act as liaison between patients, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Request consults from appropriate physicians and follow up with outpatients as needed.
  • Manage patient databases and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Virginia Physician Assistant License required.
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required.
  • Previous experience as a PA preferred.
