Job SummaryWe're seeking a Caregiver / Patient Care Technician to join our team at St. John Providence Medical Weight Loss Novi. As a member of our care team, you'll play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records.
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, reporting reactions to the care team.
- Restock medication inventories and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring resident safety by identifying potential hazards and taking corrective action as needed.
