Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms to the highest standards
  • Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms under the direction of a trained echocardiographer
  • Set up and perform exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
  • 2+ years of experience as a cardiac sonographer
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification
  • Completion of a 2-year Allied Health degree and successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP-approved School of Ultrasound Technology or Cardiovascular Technology
