Norman Regional Health System is a renowned healthcare provider with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Our innovative cardiovascular program is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team.

We operate in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, equipped with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We collaborate closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Our institution has received several prestigious awards, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition
  • Prepare, position, and provide patient care
  • Maintain a sterile environment

In this role, you will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in staff orientation, and use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks. You will also maintain professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.

To be successful in this position, you must complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months, complete all competencies listed in department policy within six months, hold a current RCIS certification, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS

The estimated salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
