Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our pharmacists in their daily tasks.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, checking for potential interactions, and ensuring accurate labeling.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records, including patient information, medication inventory, and sales data.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
