About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Associate to join our team at Volunteers of America- Minnesota. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract top talent for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the full recruiting lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with department directors and program managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting practices and strategies based on the needs of the organization.
  • Screens applications for best fit candidates, conducts screening interviews, and selects qualified candidates.
  • Oversees the interview process, including scheduling interviews and leading preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience managing all phases of recruitment and hiring process.
  • SHRM certification preferred.
