The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in procurement, order entry, invoicing, and reporting. Key responsibilities include:

1. Negotiating prices with suppliers, analyzing quotes, and entering orders accurately.
2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.
3. Maintaining accurate records of purchasing files, reports, and price lists, and reviewing them regularly for improvements.
4. Collaborating with the production team to forecast needs and manage inventory levels effectively.
5. Evaluating supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices, ensuring all criteria are met according to organizational requirements and expectations.
6. Regularly reviewing and analyzing purchasing trends and price trends to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs.
7. Providing administrative support, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
8. Working closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, proper recording, and control.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing role within the manufacturing industry. Key qualifications include:

1. Proven experience in price negotiation, quote analysis, order entry, invoicing, and reporting.
2. Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes and principles.
3. Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with purchasing software.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
