About the RoleAs an X-ray technologist, you will be responsible for taking medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, outpatient centers, private practices, imaging centers, and more. You will prepare patients for X-rays, operate X-ray technology, process films for radiologists and physicians, handle patient records, and potentially use other radiologic equipment like CTs and MRIs.
Requirements and Qualifications- You must have at least 1 year of recent experience as an x-ray technologist.
- ARRT certification is required.
- BLS certification (AHA) is also necessary.
- A current state license may be needed, depending on the location.
