Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii is Seeking a Skilled Phlebotomy Technician

We are a leading healthcare provider in Honolulu, HI, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Phlebotomy Technician to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in phlebotomy training or experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, collecting and preparing non-blood specimens, and ensuring proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
  2. Collect and prepare non-blood specimens.
  3. Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
  4. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Bonus points if you've got: 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing; Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
