Certified Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at St Cloud Orthopedics. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch orthopedic care to our patients.

The Certified Athletic Trainer will assist in patient treatment by applying modalities for patients as determined by the physical therapist. This includes preparing treatment areas, patients, and equipment for treatment, initiating treatment, and monitoring patients at regular intervals until treatment or exercise conclusion.

• Assist in patient treatment by applying modalities for patients as determined by the physical therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas, patients, and equipment for treatment.
• Initiate treatment and monitor patients at regular intervals until treatment or exercise conclusion.
• Teach and reinforce use of correct body mechanics, instruct patients in use of exercise equipment, assist with strengthening and conditioning exercises, and train patients in activities of daily living and ambulation.
• Provide on-site supervision and treatment of athletes at various types of athletic venues to prevent injuries and/or initiate rehabilitation.

• Four-year degree with emphasis in athletic training is required.
• Prior experience as an athletic trainer in an orthopedic/sports clinic is preferred but not required.
