Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian Specialist to join our team at Mont Marie Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a key member of our food services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental procedures for food service activities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Review and develop plans of correction for food service deficiencies noted during state and federal surveys.
  • Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the Food Services Department.
  • Review dietary requirements and restrictions of admitted patients in accordance with attending physician's diet plans.
  • Assist in planning the food services portion of the resident's discharge plan.
  • Develop diet plans for individual residents and plan regular and specialized diets as prescribed by attending physicians.
Requirements
  • Covid vaccine and booster shot required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active current registered Dietitian required.
  • 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Expertise in clinical nutrition, preferably geriatric rehab care practices in a skilled nursing setting.
  • Possess knowledge of all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory statues and guidelines pertaining to healthcare in the skilled nursing setting.
