About the Role

This is a hybrid flexible role that may sit from various locations. The position may require up to 30% travel, both domestic and international.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and coach division and facility leaders to understand and embrace the enterprise safety strategy, including a focus on Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) and Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention.
  • Drive cultural transformation initiatives across the division, with a hands-on approach that engages production employees and front-line leaders.
  • Develop and deliver strategies and tools to continuously measure and improve Electric Power's environmental, health & safety performance.
  • Serve as divisional point of contact with corporate teams and across peer groups for training and best practice sharing.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or science related.
  • Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent.
  • Extensive ability to communicate for impact.
  • Working knowledge of managing change.
  • Extensive experience with strategic thinking.
  • Expert knowledge in EHS policy compliance.
  • Extensive experience with matrix management.
