As an Environmental Services Technician at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect patient, ancillary, and public areas daily, following established procedures.
  • Operate and maintain manual, battery-powered, and electric equipment, such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums.
  • Collect, handle, and dispose of designated waste streams and soiled linens in the prescribed manner.
  • Complete stat and routine discharge room cleans.
  • Adhere to all hospital required Safety, Risk Management, and Infection Control practices.
  • Identify and report work orders for maintenance/refurbishing needs.
  • Inspect EVS equipment for cleanliness and need for repair.

Qualifications:

No experience is required, but a high school diploma is preferred.
