Job Summary

The Maintenance Personnel plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our plant. This position works closely with the General Manager and Production Supervisor(s) to maintain and repair equipment, as well as perform routine maintenance and facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all plant equipment necessary for production is operational at all times
  • Provide repairs and routine maintenance for the facility and equipment, including lifts, cranes, furnaces, and miscellaneous repairs involving bending, straightening, cutting, and welding various steel products

Requirements:

  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Previous experience operating various industrial equipment, including overhead cranes, forklifts, cutting torches, and other welding equipment
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be dependable and willing to work overtime in an outdoor environment

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associates / Bachelor's degree or Technical / Trade certification preferred
  • Knowledge and previous experience with various mechanical and electrical systems, as well as previous experience with general maintenance, electrical systems, welding, fabrication, troubleshooting, and overhead cranes
