The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong history of managing intricate litigation matters and possess outstanding courtroom abilities. This position demands a strategic mindset, exceptional negotiation capabilities, and the ability to juggle multiple cases while striving for optimal results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for clients in judicial proceedings, encompassing trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to formulate effective case strategies.
  • Prepare and submit legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Engage in the discovery process, which includes taking and defending depositions, as well as managing written discovery requests.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and offer expert legal counsel.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other stakeholders involved in the litigation process.
  • Craft and deliver persuasive arguments in court.
  • Maintain meticulous and current case files and documentation.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in civil litigation and personal injury law.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Active admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Civil Litigation, with a preference for Personal Injury experience.
  • Demonstrated trial experience with a successful history.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and writing capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively under pressure.
  • High standards of professionalism and ethics.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Position Location:

This position is based at our Newport Beach office.

Salary Range: $200k-$300k
