About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic Inc. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to prioritize individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in infection control and risk management activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  • Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan to ensure they receive the best possible care.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, working under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems, insert and remove patient access needles, and monitor patients during treatment.
  • Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight and determine patient care priorities to organize workload effectively.
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and track inventory and perform laboratory work as needed.
