Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Management Tech to join our team at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of supplies to our departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain assigned inventory locations, including inventory replenishment, rotation, and disposal of empty boxes.
- Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock-outs and shortages to prevent disruptions to our operations.
- Restock IV carts on all assigned floors to ensure timely delivery of essential supplies.
Requirements:
- High school graduate with one year of experience in a supply or hospital environment.
- Preference for experience with medical/surgical supplies or completion of a medical terminology course.
- Basic math and keyboard skills are required.
- Ability to learn and retain a basic knowledge of automated inventory systems and medical equipment and supplies.
- Ability to adjust to performing multiple functions at a demanding pace.
- Physical ability to lift and carry articles up to 25 pounds and push or pull carts with supplies or equipment totaling 70 pounds.
