Aerial Laborer

CableCom is seeking an experienced Aerial Laborer to join our team. As an Aerial Laborer, you will perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction and assist Aerial Lineman with completing work.

• Groundhand for Aerial Lineman, provide parts as needed, move bucket truck as directed by Lineman
• Assure that door-tagging and resident notification of our construction activities has been completed prior to starting each workday
• Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor
• Flagging, property, or worksite restoration
• Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
• Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
• A valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• To be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card

• Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 6 months of experience in the utility construction industry
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities
