As a Facilities Maintenance Technician with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, using blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local codes, specifications, and ordinances to ensure compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Trade school or vocational school preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience in building systems preferred.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record may be required, depending on location.
