Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nap Assistant to support our Kindergarten team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from lunch to nap time, supervising children during their rest period, and assisting with various tasks to maintain a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the transition from lunch to nap time, ensuring children are settled and comfortable.
  • Supervise children during their nap, remaining attentive and responsive to their needs.
  • Assist with various tasks, such as folding clothes, preparing materials, and maintaining the classroom environment.
  • Support the Kindergarten Lead Teacher and Morning Assistant in implementing daily routines and activities.
  • Engage in additional tasks as needed, such as preparing materials, cutting paper, and sorting artwork.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is patient, kind, and able to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
