Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Sonography to join our faculty at Temple College. As a key member of our Health Professions department, you will be responsible for teaching courses in sonography and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in sonography, including lectures, labs, and clinical rotations
  • Develop and implement innovative course content based on current pedagogy
  • Evaluate and grade student performance, including written and practical exams
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Sonography or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in a clinical sonography setting
  • Current certification in sonography (e.g. RDMS, RVT, RDCS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in a clinical sonography setting
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
Working Conditions

This is an on-site position, requiring regular presence on campus. The incumbent will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with students, faculty, and staff. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
