ROLE OVERVIEW

The .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions tailored for various organizational needs. This role involves collaborating with team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications while adhering to best practices.
  • Support existing applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Engage in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience (1 year of experience equates to 1 year of education), along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in software development.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Proficient understanding of:

  • Cloud computing, specifically Azure, and its deployment methodologies.
  • Azure services and their applications in software development.
  • Software design principles, including SOLID principles.
  • Common programming languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, and HTML.
  • Development tools and environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure, and GIT.
  • Database management and design, particularly with MS SQL Server and Azure SQL.
  • Best practices in performance optimization, security, and application monitoring.
  • Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
