Job Title: Utilities & Facility Engineer

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Utilities Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role involves overseeing the operational excellence of all plant-related utilities for a chemical manufacturing client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and optimize utility performance to ensure efficient operation
  • Develop and maintain utility balances to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
  • Support capital projects and provide input on utility expansion and upgrades
  • Identify and correct utility inefficiencies and limitations
  • Review and recommend policies and procedures for utility management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a utility engineering role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of utility design, construction, and contract administration procedures
  • PMP certification preferred
Benefits:
  • Base salary of $100k - $130k DOE
  • 10% bonus opportunity

The Utilities Engineer will be responsible for monitoring conditions, ensuring optimal performance, and guiding capital investment to achieve operational excellence in all plant-related utilities. This role requires strong knowledge of utility design, construction, and contract administration procedures, as well as experience in a manufacturing environment.

The Utilities Engineer will work closely with the Houston Area sites to identify and correct utility inefficiencies and limitations, and to develop and maintain utility balances. This role also involves supporting capital projects and providing input on utility expansion and upgrades.
