About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Student Intern to join our team at Albertsons Companies. As a Pharmacy Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, working closely with our experienced pharmacy team to provide exceptional patient care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered pharmacists and designated preceptors in providing patient care and counseling
  • Fill prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
  • Offer advice and consultation to customers and healthcare professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health-related products and concerns
  • Implement company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability
  • Participate in clinical services and contribute to the development of patient care plans
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in schedule specifications and work priorities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
