Instructor - Baking and Pastry Arts

We are seeking a part-time instructor to teach our Breads and Rolls course in the Culinary Arts program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, as well as experience in teaching and curriculum development.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging and effective curriculum for the Breads and Rolls course
- Teach and mentor students in a classroom and laboratory setting
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives and committees
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Professional certification in baking and pastry arts (e.g. American Culinary Federation)
- At least 5 years of experience in the baking and pastry arts industry
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- Experience teaching in a post-secondary educational environment
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design
- Experience with assessment and evaluation methods
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on student learning and success.
