About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Caregiver to join our team at CommonSail Investment Group. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized assistance to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Timely and Accountable Care: Uphold a strong commitment to timely and accountable attendance, adhering to work schedules and being prepared to start work on time.
  • Deliver 1440 Care Standards: Lead our 1440 care standards, ensuring each resident and family has their needs met, and collaborating with your team to achieve this goal.
  • Communicate Resident Changes: Provide timely and detailed information to your Wellness Leader regarding any changes to a resident's needs or care.
  • Build Strong Community Relationships: Foster strong relationships with Wellness and community peers, families, residents, and Leaders.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support Our Culture: Actively support our culture, including our pillars and 1440 care standards.
  • Complete Daily/Weekly Tasks: Complete daily and weekly tasks assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, as well as assist others with their assignments as needed.
  • Provide Compassionate and Competent Care: Provide compassionate and competent care for residents by performing services such as bathing, showering, and grooming assistance, assisting with dining, and providing wheelchair and walking escorts.
  • Document Resident Care: Complete and document appropriate records, including pertinent information entered into log books.
  • Maintain Knowledge of Safety Procedures: Stay up-to-date and knowledgeable of all safety and emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Healthcare Experience: Have previous experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or working with the elderly population.
  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) Certification: Hold a CNA or MA certification.
  • Ability to Lift and Move: Be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle equipment and objects. The employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
