Position Overview: The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while adhering to food and beverage laws and regulations. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess customer intoxication levels and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Uphold a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate current bar promotions and engage in suggestive selling of drinks and food items.
- Restock essential bar supplies, including dry goods, glassware, juices, sodas, and garnishes.
- Notify management when inventory supplies are running low.
- Provide full bar service, specializing in beer and crafted cocktails.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar and lounge areas, including equipment and furniture.
- Regularly clean bar tables and check seating for spills.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all alcohol and soda dispensing equipment.
- Accurately record all sales transactions in the register.
- Welcome customers with a courteous demeanor, ensuring top-notch service.
- Review inventory discrepancies and document findings for management.
- Prepare the bar and seating area before service begins.
- Secure all bar supplies and maintain accurate records of daily operations.
- Replace empty kegs and report any issues to management.
- Conduct opening inventory checks and note any discrepancies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and treat all colleagues with respect.
