The Associate Project Engineer is responsible for delivering both technical and administrative support to project teams, ensuring adherence to essential engineering standards, regulations, specifications, and design directives. This role involves troubleshooting engineering-related installation challenges under close supervision and addressing issues of limited scope and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and processing submittals.
- Managing Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Maintaining daily work logs.
- Documenting RFIs and change orders.
- Tracking and overseeing change orders.
- Keeping as-built records updated as tasks are completed.
- Documenting project-related issues and conditions.
- Organizing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Submitting time and cost allocation codes.
- Securing necessary permits, badges, and access requests ahead of time.
- Assisting in the preparation of change orders.
- Managing the project library.
- Participating in Key Project Reviews (KPR).

Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably from an ABET-accredited institution, with 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background verification.

Required Skills:
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to manipulate objects using fingers, such as typing on a keyboard.
- Proficient listening skills to comprehend spoken information.
- Effective verbal communication skills to convey information clearly.
- Strong reading comprehension for written materials.
- Ability to apply general principles to specific challenges to derive logical solutions.
- Capacity to recognize and understand spoken language.
