Perioperative Services Director

Job Summary:

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Director Perioperative Services to oversee the operations of our perioperative department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage nursing care within the surgical suite, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
• Create and manage schedules, delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient department operations.
• Resolve patient care issues and concerns, working collaboratively with staff and physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the Surgery Suite, evaluating equipment needs and implementing department policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Develop and implement departmental budgets, managing costs and resources to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide education and training to staff, promoting professional development and growth.

Requirements:

• RN licensure in Maine
• At least three years of perioperative experience
• Advanced computer skills
• CNOR certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
