- Acquire production raw materials to guarantee timely delivery, managing expedited and deferred shipments as necessary.
- Solicit quotes from suppliers and explore alternative sourcing options to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and oversee reports and schedules, ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Foster and sustain positive relationships with both new and existing suppliers, addressing issues in a fair and ethical manner.
- Generate Purchase Orders in line with quality system protocols related to ISO 9001:2015.
- Manage and distribute monthly supplier performance evaluations and forecasting reports.
- Collaborate with production and project teams to identify their needs.
- Engage in corporate Supply Chain initiatives and project work, including cost-reduction sourcing projects and actions related to Engineered Product Offerings (EPO's).
- Address invoice discrepancies and receiving challenges.
- Work closely with various departments on a daily basis.
- A minimum of an Associate Degree in a relevant field along with 2 years of purchasing experience, or at least 5 years of purchasing experience.
- Proficient understanding of MRP system planning.
