We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Therapist Job Board.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will work as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an inpatient rehab setting, providing top-notch care and support to patients in need. This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working in inpatient rehab settings and be able to start ASAP. A strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices is essential for this role.
About the RoleThis Physical Therapy Assistant position is based in Springfield, Missouri, a compact state with a quick licensing process. As a traveler, you'll have the opportunity to explore new destinations while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing assistance to licensed therapists in the delivery of patient care
- Implementing treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of a licensed therapist
- Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
To be considered for this Physical Therapy Assistant opportunity, you must have:
- A current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Missouri
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- At least two years of experience working in inpatient rehab settings
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds
