  • Clerical Duties: Performs a range of administrative tasks to support the unit, including managing documentation and communications effectively.
  • Patient Care: Provides essential support in patient care activities under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for the ordering and stocking of medical supplies, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Communication: Facilitates clear communication among team members, patients, and visitors, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes and assists patients and visitors, maintaining a friendly and professional environment.
  • Documentation: Accurately records patient care activities and maintains organized medical records for effective communication across disciplines.
  • Monitoring: Observes and interprets patient heart rates and rhythms, reporting any irregularities to the appropriate staff.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adheres to established professional standards and hospital policies, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • CPR certification must be obtained and maintained.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
