Job Summary:

The Echocardiograph Sonographer will provide high-quality Echo imaging services in our Hospital and off-site locations as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of Echo exams, including 2-D and 3-D echo exams, Transesophageal Echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic Stress echocardiograms, and participating in Echo's performed during procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Echo exams using advanced ultrasound technology
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Participate in quality initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Echo imaging techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • Cardiac ultrasound experience and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or eligible
  • Candidates with cardiac ultrasound experience and who are not RDCS, RCS, or eligible will be considered for appointment to an entry-level (SL1) training position at a commensurate salary, however must obtain registration within 1 year of hire date
Work Environment:

Day hours (may start as early as 7 am) rotating holiday and weekend coverage
