Part-Time Keyholder Role at Claire's

Position Overview

As a Keyholder at Claire's, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail objectives by enhancing sales performance.
• Opening and closing the store in the absence of other management, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
• Providing exceptional customer service to drive sales.
• Creating a fun and enjoyable shopping atmosphere for our customers.
• Showcasing Claire's products effectively.
• Addressing customer inquiries with your product expertise.
• Supporting store operations including deliveries, visual merchandising, inventory management, markdowns, and promotions.
• Performing ear piercing services (full training provided).
• Maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.

Candidate Qualifications

Ideal Profile

• Some high school education is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with organizational abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A solid understanding of customer service principles.
• Good mathematical skills and reading comprehension.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Capability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as necessary while assisting customers and organizing merchandise.
• Experience operating a POS system.
