Clinical Nurse RN Biobehavioral Psychiatric Unit Specialist

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse RN to join our Biobehavioral Psychiatric Unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with pediatric and adolescent populations and possess a strong background in bio-behavioral nursing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients to determine initial level of compliance with treatment plans
Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure timely communication and understanding of patient health status
Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish and implement plans of care to ensure coordination of activities and ongoing communication of patient health status
Provide orientation to the unit, hospital systems, and processes to patients and family members to ensure familiarity with unit's policies and requirements
Requirements
1 year of experience as a Clinical Nurse RN in a pediatric or adolescent psychiatric setting
CPI and PALS certifications required within 60 days of hire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
