Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to patients, evaluating their condition and developing individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients using diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess their physical abilities and develop treatment plans.
- Plan and implement individualized physical therapy programs for patients, including exercises, therapeutic modalities, and procedures.
- Direct and supervise patients in active, active-assisted, and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and functional training.
- Provide instructions to patients on therapeutic procedures to be continued at home.
- Coordinate physical therapy activities with other members of the interdisciplinary team to facilitate achievement of patient goals.
- Conduct or participate in training medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives.
- Utilize safe patient handling techniques for all patient transfers, lifts, and positioning.
- Provide supervision of PTAs and Rehab Aides as required by PA practice act.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience required.
- Licensed Physical Therapist upon hire required.
- Basic Life Support upon hire required.
This position requires standing, walking, sitting, carrying/lifting, pushing/pulling, kneeling/crouching, reaching, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination. Occupational hazards and bloodborne pathogen exposure may occur.
