Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our patient care areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, adhering to infection control protocols and departmental policies.
  • Restock and maintain adequate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Respond to emergencies and requests from nursing staff and other departments as needed.
  • Notify nursing supervisors when rooms are ready for new admissions and communicate any maintenance concerns to the EVS department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies.
