Educated Solutions Corp is seeking a dedicated IT Specialist to provide support for our esteemed client. This role involves working closely with the IT Operations Manager and requires a hands-on approach to the installation and maintenance of various computing devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure personal computers, printers, monitors, and other related hardware.
- Provide backup support for helpdesk functions as necessary.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to equipment, software, and local area networks.
- Conduct troubleshooting for desktop and laptop systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff and the Network Operations team for network and server upkeep.
- Carry out routine maintenance and support tasks to enhance the desktop environment.
- Implement intermediate upgrades for both hardware and software.
- Engage with vendor support services when required.
- Maintain accurate inventories of equipment and software in designated databases.
- Assist in the upkeep of site documentation.
- Participate in evaluating business challenges and researching new technologies as directed by senior personnel.
- Address issues with telephone systems, replacing faulty equipment or escalating problems to the appropriate service provider.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or Technical diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Microsoft operating systems and Intel-based hardware, or a combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in various software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and email.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer support.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Proof of minimum auto liability insurance coverage.
- Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle for daily travel.
