This role will primarily involve handling matters concerning Conservatorships, Estate Planning, Public Benefits Planning, and Estate Administration.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Conservatorships, demonstrate the ability to work independently, and aspire to play a crucial role with potential for professional development within the firm.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to ascertain their legal needs and concerns
  • Independently oversee Conservatorship and Estate Planning cases from inception to resolution
  • Draft Petitions and other legal documents for court proceedings
  • Represent clients in court as necessary
  • Provide legal advice on Conservatorships, Estate Planning, and Public Benefits Planning matters
  • Create detailed estate plans, including Revocable Living Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, and Wills

Additionally, you will:

  • Participate in networking events and presentations aimed at attracting new clients and expanding legal services
  • Execute administrative tasks related to case management

Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and lead in-person meetings
  • Competence in conducting legal research, analyzing case law, and keeping abreast of legal developments
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Typing speed of 50+ words per minute
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong work ethic and dedication

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with Conservatorships, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, Special Needs Trusts, and Public Benefits Planning
  • Experience using AbacusLaw and Lawgic software

Compensation:
Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
