Medicorp, Inc is actively seeking two additional board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologists to enhance our esteemed physician group, which currently comprises nine cardiologists and six cardiac PAs/NPs.
Practice Details- The employed practice is located in Western Kentucky and is experiencing significant growth due to increased patient volume across an 18-county service area.
- Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive clinic coverage and performing advanced procedures in a state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory.
- We are also interested in developing a robust Structural Heart Program to further enhance our service offerings.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate teamwork in delivering high-quality interventional cardiology services.
Compensation and Benefits- Competitive two-year guaranteed base salary with an upfront bonus and RVU bonus potential.
- Comprehensive liability insurance, malpractice coverage, and tail coverage.
- Multiple retirement plans and full health/medical benefits.
- Annual CME allowance of $6,000.
- Generous paid time off policy, including six weeks of paid time off (which encompasses CME).
This hospital-employed position is supported by an integrated electronic medical record system (Epic) utilized in both the hospital and clinics. Our modern flagship hospital facility, opened in 2013, is licensed for 477 beds and features a hospitalist group along with state-of-the-art equipment, including four catheterization labs. We are committed to providing exceptional access to care for a population of approximately 500,000.
Teaching OpportunitiesWe also offer teaching opportunities through our Family Medicine Residency program, which commenced in 2020.
