Pediatric Nurse Caregiver for Teen with Special Needs

The ideal candidate will have a current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of Illinois and a minimum of one year prior experience as a Registered Nurse. We are seeking a nurse to work with a 19-year-old patient who is g-tube dependent and requires after-school and weekend care. The available shifts include every other Thursday and Friday from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm and weekend shifts from 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities and Requirements:- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients
- Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions as patient status and needs change
- Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor effectiveness
- Review plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Location: Orland Park, Illinois. Job Type: Full-time. Experience: 1 year. Education: RN License.
