Mechanical Design Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Expert to join our team at Associates Systems LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with a focus on sheet metal, aerospace, and boat manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop 3D model files from 2D documentation using Solidworks and AutoCAD.
  • Apply GD&T standards and tolerance to ensure accurate and compliant designs.
  • Document welding and design processes on engineering drawings.
  • Modify existing designs to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
  • Design new products and solutions on new and existing platforms.
  • Produce accurate and compliant 2D documentation from 3D model files.

Familiarity with military and industry standards, including ASME-Y14.5, ASME Y14.24, ASME Y14.34, MIL-STD-31000B, MIL-STD-973, and D1.1 Structural Welding Code, is a must.

Bilingual candidates with Spanish language skills are a plus, as are those who can obtain security clearance.
