EHS Specialist II

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, customers, and the environment. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective EHS programs and policies that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
A Day In The LifeAs an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks. You will also develop and implement training programs to educate employees on EHS procedures and protocols. Additionally, you will work closely with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
- Work closely with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified hazards and risks.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of three years of experience in EHS, with 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with safety management software and systems.
