Job Summary

As a Grill Cook with Compass Group Careers, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve food at the grill station, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation, completing orders from steam tables and serving customers at multiple stations.
  • Serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner, following established steps of service and meeting outlined standards.
  • Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator, adhering to established safety standards.
  • Store foods in designated areas, following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
  • Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to supervisor.
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings, maintaining good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
