About the Role:

The Mobile Crisis Response Team Clinician will be responsible for providing emergency mental health services to individuals in crisis. This role requires a strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to mental health crises in a timely and effective manner
  • Assess and de-escalate crisis situations, providing support and guidance to individuals in need
  • Develop and implement crisis prevention plans to prevent future incidents
  • Collaborate with community leaders, police departments, and other stakeholders to ensure effective crisis response
  • Provide assessment and treatment services to individuals in crisis, including behavioral health symptom assessment and crisis-related needs

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
  • New York State licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC
  • Strong clinical triage and assessment skills, with experience in emergency, urgent, and routine calls
  • Familiarity with Westchester resources to support complex needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and demeanor, with a passion for engaging with community members and team members
